There are two T20 torx screws; one behind the hazard switch, and one behind the small mesh grill on the left-hand side of the gauge pod.

Both the hazard switch and the small mesh grill are just press fit. Use a small flat object to carefully pry them out, then remove the two screws. Do not damage your gauge pod.

After the two screws are removed, raise the gauge pod up (sometimes it takes a slight amount of force as it snaps into place) so that you can remove the hazard switch wire harness. It is held in place with one small clip that you will see you once you raise the gauge pod up. Pry the clip back and slide the connector straight down out of the gauge pod. After that, there are three connectors for the gauges themselves on the rear of the gauge faces.
To remove those, you will see a small tab which retains the lock lever for each. Press in the small tab and move the lock lever into the unlock position, releasing each of the three clips.

Your gauges are now out. It takes literally about three minutes

If you want pictures go to the search here or on the Pelican tech info site and look up the OBD Hack.
