986 model code

Porsche won't help !http://www.986forum.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif

I spotted the chassis number on my V5 ( licensing document) was incorrect ( one letter) and the car description was Boxter S , not Boxster S -
I sent the V5 to DVLA ( UK vehicle licensing) for correction and whilst they are ok to amend the chassis number they won't change the description as they require a manufacturer model code - which I assume they will input to generate the correct description.

I spoke to Porsche who said I needed to provide the V5 as proof of ownership - I explained that DVLA have the V5 and the code I want is hardly top security - they refused to help unless I get the V5 back !!

Does anyone know the Porsche manufacturer model code for a 986 Boxster -

thanks
