Help need: play in the stock shifter

Hi all,

On my 2001 986 S there is some play in the stock shifter in neutral position, I am wondering how much play is with in specs? I guess worn bushings. I shoot a little video which will show the actually play amount.thanks.

Removing said play will not net you much if anything and it will never be as good as a car with solid linkage.

Thanks for replay, agree about solid linkage, but I am looking for some technical answers, I would like to know whats the acceptable play amount is.
Thanks.
