One of things you're paying for is customer service at a level way above the bar, not "somewhat" above the bar set by $20K-$40K mass produced commuter cars. When you pay first class you expect first class experience.
If people wanted to buy an over-priced luxury car with shoddy quality control sold by people who think they're doing you a favor he'd a just bought a Ferrari from the get go. Porsche is not Ferrari. More like the Lexus to VW. Except Lexus check their cars for leaks and footwell swimming pools.

Hold your horses before you say lexus takes care of their customers haha!

Didn't say that. I said Porsche are (now) just the fancy branch of the VW parent company.
But if I were to compare Lexus customer service to Porsche, Lexus takes that one easy as their cars are actually driven.... every day.

Porsche has always been known as the Daily super car.

Cayenne owners would like a word with you.
All other Porsche models record far less mileage than the competing luxury cars typically found in the top JD Power rankings.
The Cayenne (the only real 'daily' Porsche) owner experience is not winning any awards...

In comparison to a camry that commutes every day, yes the porsche gets less miles. But a 911 turbo owner is much more likely to drive it daily than an avnetador owner.
Panameras are driven on a daily basis. Many of the boxster owners here drive their cars daily, then again as i say this mine hasnt been out since last thursday haha.

for daily driving, comparing a mass production luxury car like a Porsche to far more expensive exotics is apples to oranges. The latter are less like transportation and more like trophies.
Relative to their total, and surging, production numbers, very few 911's, Boxster/Cayman are driven daily. The Lexus equivalent on daily usage would be be the Panamera and Cayenne, and not surprisingly account for more than half of all of Porsche sales. And after all, Porsche went to the Japanese to figure out how to mass produce reliable cars without nearly going bankrupt again. Which VW will rubbish very soon, well at least the reliable part, the profitability via over-pricing they've nailed.
p.s.
Anyone notice that 991 owner has gotten progressively angrier and sarcastic with each new video?
Man I'll stick with my hooptie.

If this was my car, I would be on the news. And not in a good way either.

I have a Honda 2007 that is mass produced and is my daily. So far in 80000 miles...had to replace an oring on the air con. Paid 24000 in 2007 with leather, dual tip exhaust and 245 horse motor. Now, my wife had a Lexus SUV...no problem. Camry and Nissan before Honda no problem. My Porsches - ridiculous issues. IMS this, waterpump that. AOS what and blah blah blah.
This dude should be pissed. That car was expensive. And it should be taken care of by Porsche. Love my pcars...but come on!
