Oh no.
This is a common problem with these...and water infiltration/condensation, and leds going out.

There have been discussions about removing material to get them to seat and lock (one guy doesn't even have them locked in, just sitting there ), but I never saw any pictures or clear descriptions of where/what to remove.

I had the same issue and it was really frustrating. i shaved off some of the material in the housing to make it fit but i wasn't sure it I was shaving the right part. Long story short, now they are perfectly in place and do not come out.
3 tips:
1. reach out to the seller and ask for pictures so you can know where to shave/dremmel
2. the housing fits but I had to use a lot more force than needed for the original Bosch ones.
3. Jeff from ExtremeMotorsposts could send you information as to which shops have experience setting this up.

Hope this helps.

PS I LOVE how my Boxster looks with them on!

You probably either unseated the connector or broke it.

Or it's probably not all the way in, check by pushing it in, see if it lights up.

If you want to check the connector without taking the light back out, take the fasteners out of the front half of the inner fender liner. You should be able to get your hand in there and push on the connector from the back side.

How does this guy have 100% good feedback when he is selling an item for $1,000 that doesn't fit properly?

Bunch of suckers out there. People keep giving him good feedback and the issue will never be corrected. The guy should be slashing the price on these just to get rid of them and have the next batch made correctly.

I totally agree. I'd be returning them with a nasty note.
