I have a '05 Black Boxster with 18" wheels, upgraded stereo, windstop and Metallic Paint. Here's my question: How does a Thermos know whether to keep hot things hot and cold things cold?

Hi !!!
I have a 987-S (2005 model). It did not come with a wheel jack. Wish to buy one of those Hydraulic ones, but the dealers here, want to know what "plate" it should have on top. (ie., round or rectangular). By "plate" I mean the surface of the jack which is in contact with the car-body. I'm new to automotive terminology, but hope you can visualize my question.
Thanks for any info,
Rajendar (manguasha)

I am getting in about 2-3 days a 986 S '04. 6900 miles on it, triple black, xenons, heated seats, leather, 17 inch wheels, auto climate, 3 spoke wheel.
For those who wonder... 44k.
I CANNOT WAIT!

Assuming you truly give a crap- a link below. More complex that I would have thought (not that I actually read it - when an explanation loses my interest after a paragraph, I refer to it as "complex".)

Incidentally, did you know that the 987 glove box is "cooled". So instead of using a thermos to keep your Slurpee slurpable you could just pour it into your glove-box directly.

Only in the Summer time. It's piped into the A/C system (I believe all P-cars are like that) so in the Winter it's heated. Just don't want to see you make a mess of your glove box in the Winter months.
Btw, love that "howstuffworks.com". A wealth of useful, as well as useless, information.
