Don't say "rims" around here.

Sorry, but the original "rims" look better than the new ones - far classier.....
(Dont worry BTfd - I know what you mean by rims)!

Love the grey top on silver, and the FS exhaust is a winner. The black wheels, not so much.
Its the rare car that can pull off black rims without the boy-racer effect that cheapens the overall impression quite a bit. But hey, your car, your taste is what matters, as whatever impression people form will be more of you than of the car or marque, and my opinion is worth what you paid for it. And I bet they handle just as well as the original "rims."

thanks guys ... all comments are welcome-d

i'll try to get a vid or sound bit of the exhaust. it sounds great .... louder than I expected ! especially when first installed. I know it will get louder as it ages (hope it doesnt get too loud!)!

The grey top looks good ... but also i found it takes more effort to clean ..... its easy to get smudge marks on the creases / folds on the top near the rear window. There are some that I just can't get out ... even with the Raggtop cleaning kit.

ive found the offset for the wheels to be nearly perfect. the factory 18" cayman wheels seems to be just right for the 986 box, even with stock suspension.

any yes .. there is absolutely no performance benefit

is that a stock 986 before the fabspeed exhaust? I am very interested to hear exactly what adding only the exhaust will make the car sounds like.
