How to remove CD changer & amp

I have been searching like crazy, but can't find the answer.

Is there anything special I should know about trying to remove the CD changer and amp? This is in a MOST system car.

I have a new head unit and amp that I want to install tomorrow.

Thanks!

Jason

You don't say what yr you have. If it's 987, the changer is in the upper left corner of the frunk (looking at it from the front - it would be on the passenger side). It's held in by a bracket on ea side. You'll need to take the big plastic cover off and then it will be visible. There's a three tailed fiber optic orange cable that plugs into the amp, the changer, and into a female plug just over the power brake booster. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I see by your handle you prob have a 986. Think what I said will prob still apply. Gig 'em.

You just motivated me to add a signature!

Thanks for the help. It looks pretty straightforward. Just making sure that I don't screw anything up.
