Dension Install

I've read a couple of posts recommending Dension units for Blue-tooth capabilities. Has anyone installed one? Does it work as advertised ? Can you use stock microphone.

2008 S RS Spider, PCM with CD changer.

My .02.

I bought an 03 Boxster S two weeks ago. It has the famous Bose system so options are limited as far as adding Bluetooth or even an AUX input. You either go through the antenna (FM quality) purchase the Denison $$ or replace the system with aftermarket.

I had just installed a JVC head unit in my 2000S and spent a whopping $80 and gained aux, USB and Bluetooth. Its hard to imagine spending $500 to add the capability to the 03.

I'm on the fence right now but Denison is out unless I can pick one up very cheap, used.

I'd like to keep stock appearances but at what cost, and why? I like my new 03 Box but it is an 11 year old car...is it really important to keep stock. Dunno yet.

I know I didn't answer your questions....sorry about that! Just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat.

I just bought my 2008 in August, still pinching myself. Maybe when the awe wears off I'll consider total replacement. So for the time being I'll keep it stock and keep ears open for add on options.
