Too much signage...most know it's a Boxster and those that don't, could care less.

If I were purchasing a new model, I would opt for badging delete...Porsche puts way too much on the rear of the cars these days.

OP, I like your sticker. I got the same but it reads PORSCHE (arc shape) in 90% gray over black.

I disagree sir! Crest on the front, model number on the back.
A Porsche with a blank rear looks weird. That delete stuff only works on slick Audi, BMW and Merc tuner cars.

Most Porsche people maybe. Otherwise I would bet that 9 in 10 non-car people today don't know that the Boxster and Carrera Cab are two different cars.

I have lost count at the number of times people asked me if my car "was a 911" or those who didn't know that "Boxster" was the name of a Porsche. And out of say 30 compliments maybe one will be "Nice Boxster", all others are "Nice Porsche" or "Nice car".
Which is partly why I don't mind the PORSCHE lettering on rear trunk with the model number. Unless they know that these cars have unique fender and rear quarter panels the model number isn't enough for them to go on.
But mixing the classic PORSCHE font with that caligraphy model name thing Porsche love to do on Panamera looks belts and suspenders in colors that don't match.

I could care less if " other people " know what I'm driving, I drive a Porsche for me and all the fun it provides. I'm not out to impress anyone just want to enjoy the ride.

I don't know, to each his own I guess. I have a 'bare bottom' back end and love it. Also a small stick on crest on the plastic between the seat backs. As aforementioned by another, I drive the car for my enjoyment not for others. I also painted the back of the spoiler silver so when it is up it blends in with the back end and does not announce 'over 75' to the world. Just one mans opinion.
