I love the look and feel of my lowered Boxster but there is no doubt it is a PITA. I blew a front shock on a bump on the highway in the coast range so it can be an expensive luxury. I installed a polyurethane GT 3 bumper cover so it bounces back without shattering when whacked. Ibach lowering springs do the job nicely, 17" wheels.
