Unfortunately, they're illegal in some western states.

That does look very sexy though.

Tail light installation takes about 10 minutes max. Unscrew, unplug, plug in, screws back in.

My question is that of safety. Can you post pics of the brake lamps illuminated on the car at noon and also after dark?

It doesn't matter how cool they look on my all-black boxster if I get rear ended after I install them

Hi heliguy.
Was it mine you wanted to see day time photos of ? Not sure who your post were aimed at.
Anyway I’ll take some when I do my next update on our UK Boxster forum.
This is the only one I have at the moment because, as soon as I put the smoked 3rd high level (HL) brake light in I knew that was the look I was after and here's the picture

I didn't take anymore as you can see the brightness of the brake light is as bright as the OEM lights, and the 3rd HL strip is smoked the same as my rear light clusters, here’s a picture of them switched off where you can see how dark they look with the smoked tint.

I knew there was going to be a few out there that would say they are not bright enough, OK they are not as bright as my LED set of rear lights that I have (I change them during the winter months) granted, but where the standard wattage bulb for normal rear lights is 5w I have changed mine to 10w so even with just driving lights on they are brighter to allow for the smoke tint.
I will post some photos like I said when I get around to posting on our UK forum.

Hi heliguy.
Found this it might help you see what mine look like in day time, it was a modification I did to my brake lights, just left click on the photo
Tip; I'd turn down the volume before you play the clip as the works generators are a bit over powering.

Yours look nice Guvs...But Batshapedheart posted a pic of his Dectane all black taillights in the shipping box. Then he posted a pic of his taillights installed in the dead of the night, I just want to see what the taillights look like in the daytime, installed on his car.

Took these today should get a good idea what they look like day time.

Side light (with up graded 10w bulbs)

Brake lights (not forgetting the 3rd high level one strobes for 4 seconds as shown in previous video clip)

Guvs.

Forgot to say someone mentioned "reflector" that was sorted with the small motorbike one you can see just right of my number plate, as you do lose the reflector when they are smoked, so I needed that to pass our MOT (UK Vehicle fit for road test) so yes passed and quite legal over her, I shouldn’t say this but I’ve never been stopped by our traffic coppers yet !! Having said that I carry the advert with all my car Docs insurance etc. that states from the manufacture that they are road legal, so I'll let them argue it out with the manufactures.
