P.S. The monumental loads of crap and insults being hurled my way from my buddies after hearing about this recent acquisition are nothing short of epic!! The not so subtle questioning of my manliness and sexuality is freaking hilarious, the comic relief aspect of this was worth every penny I spent. They'll be singing a different tune after a ride in it but for now I am LMAO at the emails.

I've owned two Miatas. I still miss them. I had a lot of fun with both of them and found Miata.net a great resource. I did finally become concerned about the small size and lack of roll over protection. I decided to switch to the Boxster because I thought it would stand up better in an impact. The Boxster is also better on a long trip.

I think there are a lot of former Miata owners on the forum.
