With all these winter tire talks lately, here´s my weapon of choice:

What´s yours?

Mine are:

Rear: 17" Cup 3 Turbo, 17 X 8 rim, 225/45 Michelin X-ice
Fronts: 17" Cup 3 Turbo, 17 X 7,5 rim, 225/45 Michelin X-ice

I´m, excited to find out how such wide tires will behave on snow. I´d like them to be alot narrower, but these came with the Box when I purchased it in july..

Winter tires are important, especially here in Norway. Remember, rubber are fresh goods! If they have low milage or wear, but are old, they are no good! Winter tires have a much softer rubber blend in it, and the rubber gets crispy with age. Replace at least every three seasons..

I washed my rims and tires today, got three purpose brushed and three different soaps:

Some degreasing added, becomes purple when reacing to S**T:

Still not 100% but good enough. I will spray then with black plasti dip.

Last little rinse..
