Oil Recommendation

Magic Oil - Buy Engine Oil Additive Product on Alibaba.com

Maybe we could get a group buy together??

It could save a lot of money with change intervals of 150,000km (~95,000mi) and the manufacturer claims that it increases engine power "especially on uphill road". See below or follow the link for full specs.

♣ Characteristics of Magic Engine Oil Additive

1. Non-Newtonian property.

2. This is a new material oil based on particular fluid theory which concentrates lubrication function

on motion part with selling and pushing action, and disperses, absorbs, and maintain shock.

3. There is little change in oxidation and viscosity in high temperature.

4. A function to clean and disperse impurities in oil.

5. This penetrates into fine pore on metal surface to make molecular bond with metal, and forms

more smooth and stronger metal ion film than metal hardness before treating frictional metal

itself, so as to remarkable reduce friction force and maximize lubrication effect.

6. If temperature on metal surface is 67 °C or more, chemical reaction with metal happens

in order to form smooth and strong surface like alloy.

♣ 10 great advantages of Magic Oil which can not be imitated

1. It increases engine life 3~5 times by remarkable wear & tear reduction.

2. It prevents generation of impurity and increases engine oil life 30~50 times.

3. It reduces friction coefficient by 1/100 and increase engine power. (Especially on uphill road)

4. It prevents overheat of air conditioner on uphill road in summer time.

5. Engine starts at extreme cold (-30°C) condition, no need of warming up for all kinds of

(Especially LPG using) vehicles.

6. It reduces smoke up to 70~80%(except vehicle with old plunger and nozzles),

Contributes to air pollution improvement.

7. It saves gas up to 10~14% and thus saves money.

8. It reduces engine noise and thus causes comfortable driving.

9. Smooth driving reduces driver's stress.

10. It can drive up to 300Km with low level of engine oil, and it helps ships in sea, military vehicle

in mission, or other cars arrive in their destination

They don't say it prevents IMS failure, or enhances sex appeal (!) I reckon you would have to be brave to try this. Let us know how you go with it.

It was meant purely as a joke, mainly inspired by all the idiotic "Which oil should I use?" threads popping up lately from new members of the forum who apparently couldn't locate the search button.

I just liked the name "Magic Oil" and the ridiculous claims made in the spec sheet. It is so kitsch that it inadvertently parodies major oil brands and their spurious "popular science" that is hypothesised, experimented and confirmed only in the mind's eye of some fellow in the marketing department.
