Going to pick up an 01 996 cab this morning . very excited ! The owner has done some real nice upgrades in his 10 years of ownership . The best thing about the deal is a brand new double row bearing , clutch and water pump done 3k ago . |

[JEALOUS]Looks like the driver's side air intake is missing!! I would check the passenger side too to make sure it wasn't bondo'd over too!

Your a funny guy mr johnny sprockets . I still regret letting the roock go. You are right it is kind of a 911 roock . I was looking for a mk2 996 and happened to come across this . it was well cared for and the price was great. just got a damn plastic window again. I still got my boxster , sold my unloved EVO a few months back.

I do not know what it is making for power , The original owner never dyno'd it or tracked it either . I do know it is quite a bit faster than my 3.2 and makes all the right sounds. not so sure about the handling yet . my boxster with the ROW m030 seems superior in that department. The former owner also told me the PSS9s are set on the softest setting as well as the sway bars. so I will most likely make some adjustments.

Beautiful car , congrats ! I had a 996 cabrio, loved the car but then it was in the shop every other month, after last fix I sold it and got a 997 coupe. I do still miss my cabrio, so I picked up a 01 boxster.

Cheers

The great thing is I did not pay 997 prices , more like a 986 price . i also do not have to pay this bill either .
