Cosmetically, the 2nd generations are a bit beefier. A lot more... 'housing' to it, I guess you could say. But other than that they are pretty much the same.

Also, all together I've had them for about a year or so. Never had a single LED break.

Crono, what problem did you encounter with the fitment?
I just placed an order for the 2nd Generation of this. I think they look outstanding but I want to be ready by the time they come in.
