That would be pretty drastic. The 911 has it's place and is iconic of Porsche. Now, Porsche should not restrain the cayman and give up the fight already but that is doubtful that will happen.

What are they doing to squeeze 275 hp out of the caymans 2.7 that my 2.7 is not doing. That's what I'm asking.

Short answer: a LOT. Higher compression, DFI, improved management, to name a few.
