I like the idea. They look like black holes now so it might make it more pronounced with it yellow.

I personally don't like the all painted look.

I wonder how it would look with black shrouds and yellow painted louvres...?

You'd probably like it a lot. The grilles (or "strakes") are a neat detail of the Boxster, and in their natural black are rather hidden. I painted mine silver recently. See my thread about it.

Make sure they do a better job than this:

Hey, at least I didn't put Chaz Bono all over it!

I say, "Go for it!" The added Speed Yellow can only increase the power the Danger Mobile already has!

So as is, its egg yolk yellow with a black top, mirrors and black wheels - sure it looks like a bumble bee, what else is it going to look like ??

I'm sure dbear61 can photoshop a pair of wings onto the top for you.....

I like the black accents against the yellow I'd leave it go.

Since you have the front vents in black, keeping the side vents black is a good combo -- but on the other hand.... it's a matter of personal preference.

Have you thought about painting the rotor hats in yellow when you have to replace the brakes?

My recommendation is that you get a professional designer to give you some advice on this -- my favorite designer is Cheryl Torrenueva who appears on the Restaurant Impossible show (Food Network). Don' know her knowledge about cars, but who cares -- she looks good!!

Regards,
paul...
