Thumbs up Pleasant surprise: working on my Boxster

Well, so far this spring and summer, I've changed the motor oil and filter (Joe Gibbs DT40 5W-40), air filter and cabin filter, installed a new battery, installed inserts for a hard top, rear brake light bulb, serpentine belt, and one horn. Cleaned the radiators while I was at it, of course (they were actually already quite clean). I'm pleasantly surprised how relatively easy the car is to work on. Of course I realize these are trivial projects, but I'm rather enjoying being able to do these jobs myself. I wonder what a shop would have charged for labor...

You will be surprised at how much you can do . I would recommend The 101 boxster projects book . You can also do the front motor mount and a 997 shifter also and if your up to it you can do the ignition switch, cv boots , wheel bearings , under drive pulley , cat delete , exhaust , ROW suspension. The list goes on and on.
