Multiple 12v adapter for Boxster.

This is my first post and I apologize for putting forth a highly technical question. Has anyone found a 12v cigarette lighter multiple adapter that actually stays in the short barrel of the lighter? I've purchased two so far and neither remain connected. Need for GPS and Radar and occasionally for cell phone. One plug just doesn't work.

The opening is european....slightly larger than american. Suncoast sells a conversion to american size for around 25 bucks. I changed mine about 6 months ago.

ebay UK. I use one in my Audi which also allows 2 x USB. They are equivalent to sub $5
