I did the same thing. First I let the oil drain bolt fall into my oil catch tray. Naturally it worked its way into the oil opening. Fortunately I noticed almost as soon as it started overflowing the container. Maybe 2 quarts worth of stoopid.

Then after that mess was cleaned up, I left small container under the Box overnite to catch what I thought would be a cup or so. Must have been at least a pint. Another, albeit smaller, mess.

I did learn that kitty litter works best if you really grind it into the floor with you foot. Then apply garage floor cleaner.

I've been changing my own oil for years, so no idea why the Box got me rattled.
