The more i think about it, the switch/remote function is perfect!
To have the default function with the 29 mile limit, thats not gonna work.

All i have to get checked is the valves so they work.

Anyone who knows the size on the smaller tubes on the muffler, the ones Jeff is talking about?

well this didn't end as i wanted, the pse muffler was sold long Before i saw it.

Now im thinking of copy the original PSE but i need some information.
Does anybody know what kind of vacuum the actuators need?
And can anybody verify that the tubes are connected to the second chamber?

One could also use Electric flaps but they are way to slow.

just a quick update on this otherwise dead thread given some information I came across while reading about x51 intake conversions. the x51 intake doesn't use a resonance flapper, and the Porsche-approved procedure when installing the x51 package is to repurpose the resonance solenoid to pse control. so, as per my post above, it would be pretty easy to set up a homemade pse with some vacuum-actuated cut-outs and control them with the resonance flapper signal - exhaust only opens up on high rpm.
