The New Year is starting off right!!
Just wanted to share some good news.....I recently moved from Hawaii (about 4-5 weeks ago) to the Chicagoland area, and I just got wind that my car will be here tomorrow! Wasn't expecting it til mid January, but hey, I'll take it!

1998 Guards Red Black/Black 5 sp.

Work done '06 :Replaced bad hose and clamps from reservoir tank
oil change and filter
replaced seals on both cam covers
brakes bled and refilled
Replaced bent rear right lower control arm
Front air dams and 3 underbody panels replaced
Halogen headlamps replaced

If you dont mind me asking how much was it to move your Boxster that far? Especially on a boat from Hawaii to a coast.

Yeah, its definitely gonna be cool to have the wheels back! ....Been driving rentals, and nothing drives like a Porsche....

The cost of having it sent from Hawaii to Long Beach, CA. was $900.00.....Sent by truck the rest of the way....All together just a tad under $1900.00....Not cheap, but hey, thats over 4,000 miles all toll

The thought of selling it DID cross my mind, but you're right, I have kind of grown attached to the car, and am not giving it up....Its the finest car I've had and/or driven.....Porsche....there is no substitute!
