Just wanted to share some good news.....I recently moved from Hawaii (about 4-5 weeks ago) to the Chicagoland area, and I just got wind that my car will be here tomorrow! Wasn't expecting it til mid January, but hey, I'll take it!

If you dont mind me asking how much was it to move your Boxster that far? Especially on a boat from Hawaii to a coast.

Yeah, its definitely gonna be cool to have the wheels back! :) ....Been driving rentals, and nothing drives like a Porsche....

The cost of having it sent from Hawaii to Long Beach, CA. was $900.00.....Sent by truck the rest of the way....All together just a tad under $1900.00....Not cheap, but hey, thats over 4,000 miles all toll :eek:

WOW that is dedication. You must really love your car. Most would have sold it before the move.

The thought of selling it DID cross my mind, but you're right, I have kind of grown attached to the car, and am not giving it up....Its the finest car I've had and/or driven.....Porsche....there is no substitute! ;)
