I was worried about this as well, but after 5 heavy coats and triple digit speeds, no vibration.
I suppose it depends on how many/how even the coats are.
According to the YouTube videos I've seen, you can paint or clear coat right on top of it and it still peels off just fine. Some use Plasti-dip as a barrier when painting their wheels so that it can be easily undone.
