M3Bonus Registered User Join Date: Oct 2015 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 22	Pics of oil leak 2004 2.7 IMG_1365.jpeg IMG_6493.jpeg Hi everyone. Yesterday I got an oil change and now I have a leak. I was also leaking prior to the oil change but from a different location. Right now the leak is from the oil drain plug. I checked and it pretty tight. It was not leaking from there prior to oil change. My leak precious to oil change was from the oil filter canister. For the oil change I bought a brand new canister. In the second image you can see some oil residue on and around it just a few hours after replacing. Any ideas what the cause can be?
