I am requesting the radio code for my 986 boxster CDR 220. I took a photo last night. Can the code be derived from this number stamped on the side? If not, I will see if I can find the proper sticker tonight.

Just bought a 2002 Boxster...not my first Porsche (I am a big fan of 964s, had a couple) and need the code for the replacement CDR 220, the original does the initial POSRCHE thing, asks for the code, which I input then it does the WAIT thing which I am familiar with...and then I go through the same cycle again.

So, replacement in hand and the serial number is 15003770.

Once done I will begin the new/replacement key saga!!!!
