As long as the logic board in the unit is still the original board its fine, but if that unit had a board replaced at one point the serial number will be different.

If you need the instructions again to retrieve the serial number here they are... it should work fine...

Turn off radio.
Hold down the TP button for at least 10 seconds.
Turn the radio on. "Becker 1" will be displayed.
Rotate the right knob slowly, as it will display the Becker model number.
Rotate again and radio serial number will display on radio display.

2115 is what I get on my side for a 1st option code...
2nd option is 1115 and 3rd option is 2111 which I have never had to use.

The various options are usually due to a revision change in the model # which
uses a variant of the original algorithm. This has only happened to me a few times where the code doesn't work...
You could try calling the dealer and see if they have it on file, either something
is wrong with the unit accepting the code or the variant of the code isn't supported
for that serial number :-(

Hello there,
Recently had to reset my radio due to a dead battery. 2002 Porsche Boxster S.
Type: 4362
Serial Number: 15003536

Any ideas of a radio code that might work for me? All help is greatly appreciated

H has been remarkable in this thread, and I'm hoping he can help me as well.
