Try 1032 or 1022 if 1032 doesn't work

And yet another lost Boxster radio code.........
I am a 'newbee' to this forum so please be gentle!!!!
I have read the above posts but don't see an answer to my specific problem.
My radio is a CR220, Becker 1, 4362, s.n. W5002947. I also have the remote CD changer.
Like everyone else, after changing batteries, I lost the radio code. I got the 4 **** and foolishly tried to enter a code which was incorrect. The wait message had now been displayed for HOURS, not allowing another code to be entered.
I would love to have the Correct code for my radio. Also, if anyone know a trick to resetting the message on the radio face, I would appreciate it. I tried to remove the battery cable again, but that did not luck.
My Boxster is a 2000. Thanks for the help!

Try 4607 first and if that doesn't work use 4605... one of those two codes should work.

Make sure your battery is charged and leave the radio on for as long as 24hrs. If you've entered the wrong code more then once the time might get longer on some units.
But either way the unit has to be 'ON' in order to get past the timer....

CDR 220
• Turn off unit

•Turn the unit on.... 'Becker 1' will show on display
• Rotate the right selector knob to display serial number
CR 210
• Press tone, then press 8 and 0 simultaneously 'Becker' appears
• Press station up arrow on right ' PR-VERS' appears
• Press one of the number buttons below display, directly below the LCD arrowheads
• The model number will appear
• Press station up arrow on right until, 'SERIAL N' appears
• Press the numbered button again
• The serial number will appear
