Leakage story

So a week or so after my Indy replaced my IMSB and clutch in my 2000S, I noticed a pool of oil under the car. It turns out he used a transmission output shaft seal for a 5 speed and not my 6 speed. The oil was actually transmission lube. The fix of course was on him!

I hope he paid more attention to details on the rest of the job.

So your Indy replaced the gearbox oil seal as well as the IMSB & clutch...... because replacing the IMSB has got nothing to do with the gearbox oil seal.

Yes, clutch, IMSB and it's seal plus the rear main seal plus the trans output shaft seal. Yes I hope all else is right. This mech has done other work on my car and I have been pleased with it. I think picking the wrong output shaft seal was a genuine mistake...
