What a great looking car! I think I need to get in touch with Essential and get the front bumper and skirts....and keep saving for the read bumper!!

Don't worry though, my car is silver and I live about 300 miles away from you, so I don't think I'll be stealing your thunder!!!

If I were you though, I'd leave the wheels silver. If you paint the multi-spoke design a solid colour (like yellow or red) they tend to look like they're made of plastic for some reason. I've seen it done a few times. Maybe have a play around with photoshop on a PC and see what you think though.

Out of interest, is that a 2003 style spoiler you have fitted, and also a glass rear screen on your hood?

All the best

Paul

Differnent strokes for different folks...I really do not like painted wheels. But that is just me...the Porsche is yours and you should do whatever you think looks good.

Hi Paul

thanks for the comments on the car !

yep its the BAS replacement hood with glass rear screen, simon at Essential now fits these as well (£695 inc fitting and vat)

And yes again, its the later model spoiler. My turbo style rear bumper was the first that Essential had taken delivery of and it turned out that is was made for the later model, consequently they changed the spoiler over to suit the shape of the bumper at the top.

if you like you go fo it bud! As you probs know the general UK owner doesnt mod his porsche so even with two of us we'll still be pretty unique :-)

I've already told the body shop to paint the wheels and I'm picking them up on thursday, so we'll have ot see how they turn out. fortunately being a split rim its not that hard to return the centres to gun metal or the likes if I dont like them yellow...............fingers crossed tho.
