I thought this Official Porsche Boxster commercial really hit the demographics of the Boxster owner. A nostalgia for simple roadsters, the way they used to be. Do you agree? Does it speak to you?

Funny thing, I've never seen a Porsche commercial on tv. When I mentioned this fact to my dealer, he smiled and said "we don't need to advertise. They sell themselves"
It's called Porsche - Awaken, about a guy that wakes up after coma and takes his classic spyder for a spin and sees a new boxster and falls in love with it

We had the shorter version above. Haven't seent hat longer version before. Cool. Would be nice to see it in higher quality.

@BYprodriver; Thanks, glad you liked it! If you search youtube for "Porsche 911 commercial" and "Porsche Cayman commercial", you'll see how amazingly well Porsche reaches each of their markets, very defined targeting. It's kind of scary, actually.
@coresellet; more Patrick Stewart! I have a thing for that guy . . .
@M31; I hadn't see that one, that was hilarious!

I think the Amish centerfold is funny too. It made me think of a time I was passing by Wal Mart and saw a horse and buggy tied to a light post. The real devil doesn't have four wheels, it has enough fluorescent lights to make you think, when you walk inside at night, that it is day time. I wonder what the Amish woman would think if she knew her husband was shopping at Wal Mart while her son was looking at centerfolds?
This video is AWESOME! It hits the nail on the head. The Boxster (any other 2 seat convertable for that matter) is like a time machine, memory maker, stress reliever..........Roadsters are all very special in their own way (I have owned a few over the years).
I really liked how Porsche put many makes and models of roadsters in the commercial (very classy). It showed the common thread that binds them all together. Thanks for posting that commercial, I really enjoyed it!

You're welcome!
That's what I like about the Boxster; to me it's the zippy red roadster that will always be cool and fun.

One thing I have noticed about (most) roadster owners (regardless of make) is that they have a true love for cars. They have a real understanding of driving a "sports" car beyond just horsepower. They understand the relationship between driver, machine and a true feel for the road.
My Wife drives a Dodge Charger SRT8 and it is a BEAST (also fun to drive) but when I want a true driving experience it will be the Porsche that comes out of the garage.
