Actually, unless he's changed his mind, what he has recommended (based on their UOA results) is the Castrol 10w-40.

I spoke with JFP in PA and he highly recommends Castrol 10W 40. Lucky for me, I hadn't changed my oil yet and the local Auto parts store allowed me to trade my 5W 50 in for the recommended 10W 40. I really respect JFP's opinion on this matter. He has a lot of background and research to back up his statements.


This weekend, the Box is going to get a belly full of fresh Castrol Syntec 10W 40!
