Yeah, I don't know why Wayne hasn't updated that tech article to show how to do it using the B90 tool. He even sells the tool on PP!

Can you do it leaving the hub on the car with the tool?

Yes. My Bentley manual says you can change the wheel bearings while they're in the car.
