3 year Anniversary!

hi all

Ive been following this forum for a while now and Ive got to say a big thanks to all of you that have shared your experiences and contributed with advice and tips.

It's been a great reference so far for troubleshooting and for carrying out minor mods!

I have had my Boxster S for 3 years this month and I still get the same buzz driving it now, like I did when I first bought it!

Also good to see that im not the only "enthusiast" out there that loves their boxsters. My wife ..well ..she just doesnt share the same enthusiasm that I do!

Anyway here she is (the boxster that is.. not my wife!).

In order to match the steering wheel that's on the wrong side .

And the front plate doesn't match the rear plate!
And photos taken at different locations!

Boxster drama and intrigue!

My guess...

is, that in the UK a '52' plate means a car registered on or after September 2002 which can conceivably go until March 2003 when it changes to to be '03'.

The first picture is pre-mod whilst the second is after his wife has allowed him some pocket money to buy 'stuff'

I reckon the decal is both sides... but we shall have to wait and see.......

..... the plot thickens!

and the second picture is after he has bought or transferred his cherished number plate - so the first picture is fairly soon after purchase and the second picture is as it is now.

And again i'm pretty sure the frant and the rears now match?

Spot on fella!

I took the first photo shortly after buying it and the other one a couple of weeks back when we actually had some sun!

The other photos on the picasaweb link confirm the presence of the decal on both sides!
