Pressure Wash

I got a 3000 psi pressure washer and thought I'd give it a try on the Boxster.

Does a fantastic job on the rims as you can use the stronger settings and it takes all the brake dust off every nook and cranny in seconds.

However, I though it would be too powerful and perhaps even abrasive for the rest of the car and better not get the spray anywhere near the top material.

I used the Soap feature to foam the car up though and it probably cut my hand wash and dry down to 15-20 minutes due to the wheels literally taking only 30 seconds each instead of the many minutes each with a brush.

I did hit the ground with the spray once and all the dirt flew back up onto the wheels .....so aim carefully with the sprayer.

Be very careful using one of these, even on the wheels. Extreme high pressure streams can lift the wheel coatings and even damage the brakes if you hit them the wrong way.
