How do I de-snorkle my amber?

Just bought a 1999 Boxster with 224 miles on it. (Stole it for 32K) I was wondering with this kind of low miles, should I de-snorkle the amber or MAF the IMS? Thanks.

Good god man! Do you know what would happen if you desnorkled your amber? DO NOT try this. Worse than crossing the streams.

At very least, with that low mileage, I'd make sure the blinker and headlight fluids have been flushed, and the muffler bearings have been adequately serviced.
No substitute for a good PPI.

waste of time..

a car with amber is only noticeably slower in a 1/4 mile. On a proper track with a variety of corners the difference is down to the driver. Unless it's a right hand drive car and the guy has a manly moustache like Nigel Mansell.

WOW! Sounds like you got a great deal! The main thing to be concerned about with the early low mileage Boxsters would be the flux capacitor.

That is what I was thinking. I got a call from a guy in North Korea who wanted to know if it was warhead ready...I told him I did not know.

Oh it's warhead ready - problem is that it's likely to detonate without warning. They all come with an Intercontinenetal Missile System, generally referred to as the IMS.

I think you need to add the top with the PDK window.

The turn signal semaphores should be lubricated every 6 months or 6 thousand miles, whichever comes first.

But, don't forget to use genuine Porsche blinker fluid.
