By the way, this is one reason I always use my parking brake light when I park on the street or even supermarket parking lots. Although I doubt I would have done this if I were merely parking in front of my own house!

At any rate LED tailights available on Ebay for the 986 are 10X's brighter during the day. I parked on the street a few weeks back and they were by far the brightest thing in my field of vision some two blocks away. I could see people reacting to the light by moving closer to the dividing line in the road.

For some reason people just notice a low sitting car a lot less. Silver also seems blends into the background a bit more.

That's a idea if he had the time. I just removed my oe 102K rear suspension, Thstone I'll give you my worn but totally safe parts to swap out if you need to go that route.
