Question Parking brake cover?

Does anyone know of a product that can slip over the existing parking brake in my '97 Boxster? I'm trying to enhance the plain look of it without having to replace the entire parking brake. Thanks.

that would make to much sense for the real world.
I think even if you took it to an auto upholstery shop they would
have to remove the whole assembly.

Porscheman, I bought a brand new, never used black leather ebrake on Ebay for a whopping $11 plus s/h.

For some reason, they go cheap on ebay and aren't nearly as expensive as other Porsche parts sold there. Keep an eye on ebay and snag one like I did.

BTW - I've yet to put it in after a year, but I'm gonna real soon. I promise!

I recently picked up the upgraded aluminuim hand brake, shift knob and boot for $115 shipped to my house from DC Automotive(Autodismantler). I would suggest giving them a call to see if they just happen to have another if you are looking for a reasonably priced handbrake upgrade. www.dcauto.com 1-800-579-2410

Thanks to all of you. I'm in Canada and we have a place like that here www.porschapart.com I just thought that since there was nothing wrong with the current handle I could find something to make it look better. I just received the upgraded shift knob and boot I bought from Suncoast. That in itself makes a world of difference. I'm trying to do a little at a time. The next thing I want to get is the aluminum door sill plates. I saw them on e-bay for a pretty reasonable price, although I don't know how good they are.

Wink

Maybe I should look into making a cover for such a purpose. I would think there would be a market for it. Do you think?
