When you sit low enough to look into every BMW, Ford, Chevy, Acura and so on's rims and see they have 2-piston pinch style calipers and yours are 4-piston monoblock. plus, your rotors are at least an inch or two larger.....;)

When you smuggle cocaine across the border in the front trunk... Don't tell me I'm the only one on that does that? :D

Meir 03-18-2013 02:14 PM

when you have the following conversation with your wife:

you:
Hi honey, i'm done with the AOS,RMS,IMSB,DMFW and the clutch.
the RMS was a PITA, but next i wanna get the LSD, and ROW030, or PSS9.
what do you think?
wife:
WTF!!!

When you stab your keys into the dash on the left side of your steering wheel in your other cars and can't figure why the key doesn't go there.

You spend $20K per year on a $10K car.

Funny you should say that. Every time I cross the border and the guy asks me to pop my trunk, I always pop just the rear and not once has any of them asked me to pop the frunk as well. I still wouldn't try and take advantage of that because with my luck I'd get the one border guard that happens to own a Boxster.

I know, right? And then you're pawing the air where the shifter is supposed to be until you notice the lever on the column.

You know you drive a Boxster when people ask you what kind of mileage you get and you tell them "60 smiles per gallon" :D

recycledsixtie 03-19-2013 06:12 AM

I know when I am driving my Box in 5 inches of snow I can hear it scraping the bottom of the car.:(
To the purists out there I sometimes can't help myself!:)

You know you drive a Boxster when you spend all your time looking in the rear view mirror trying to see if the spoiler's up, then worry it's broken when you cant see it.

When you could not wait for time to change the oil (while debating on which kinds), and immediately tear up the oil filter with your bare hands (without gloves) and check for metallic flakes.

Meir 03-19-2013 08:05 AM

when you turn the A/C on, and get attacked by foam flakes.

kk2002s 03-19-2013 08:28 AM

When you hit 75 mph for the first time and you see the car closely following behind suddenly back off a bit

When you have to carry a rag with you when it rains to wipe up the drips that come in at the Top and Side window's seals

Don't feel too bad, hubby's 911 does the same thing. :p

When you're cruising along, thinking you're doing about 40-50, and suddenly realize the speedometer says 74 . . .in a 45 zone

particlewave 03-19-2013 08:43 AM

When I go out to the garage and see a Boxster :p

When you are at Costco and have the trunk and the frunk open and people ask, “Where’s the engine”?
We had an oil change guy that said the engine is in the back, and you have to open the rear trunk to see it. I told him he didn't have a clue, then showed him inside of the rear trunk. He never did figure out where the engine was.

My favorite thing is not seeing a car like my car going down the road every fifteen minutes. Other than the way it drives, of course.
