How to avoid studying...

Wash and wax two black German cars! Yup, anything is more fun that studying for my Series 7 coming up in a few week's time. Tomorrow I will take the Boxster out for a drive to avoid studying on day two of a gorgeous Houston weekend (which are rare and usually followed by nasty weather, when I will study a LOT more. I promise!)

get a kindle. It has text to speech. Buy series 7 for dummys. listen while you wax, drink beer or bike ride.
text to speech also works with the newspaper and some of the older books where an audiobook is not available. and get a set of LG Tone bluetooh headphones which last an easy 7 hours per charge. that way you don't have to be attached to the kindle with one of those old school headphone wires that get tanled into a knot. I'm not sure which Kindles are BT capable though.

I did my drive today - went out to Washington on the Brazos - was a beautiful day. Just a tad cool but not too bad.

Change venue. On such a nice day Memorial Park might be too busy. Let's meet at the Great Indoors parking lot on the north side of I-10 between Gessner and Beltway 8. Address is 10496 Katy Fwy. It's between Sam's Club and Home Depot.

You can reach me at seven-one-three 820-7391.

What do y'all intend on doing? I'm not sure if I can make it - got to finish some major freelance projects tomorrow. Will see how it is.

And that Great Indoors has actually closed, just one big empty parking lot. Are you planning an autocross?
