Someday I'll get an air cooled 911 in addition to my Boxster. I love the top down driving but there is also something about the older 911's. To have both would be ideal for me.

I agree. you need both. One is a bargain and the other will rise in value. win win.

Originally dreamed of the 911. Purchased a gently used S and love winding it up. To me the box is prettier than a 911 cab, and has the right amount of power relative to the car. If it had 350 HP, I wouldn't be able to wind it up as much. I would be in jail or dead in a wreck. I'll keep my 2010S.

I've heard it said, and for the most part agree - the only real 911s are the air cooled and the GTs. These cars have race-ready engines. The other newer 911s are overpriced passenger cars for poseurs.

My boxster handles better than my 84 911, but the 911 isn't going lose oil pressure in a sweeper or blow an IMS, coolant tank, water pump, etc, and gets more complements.

Yep The 911 looks perfect in Red, in fact, that would be one of my first choices in color, but reality is, I would just love to have one

Super combo Kurt. I'd hate you if you weren't clear a man of such impeccable taste!
