I guess you have to have bought one to understand. I get it now.

Mine is the LN Eng. ceramic bearing - it IS indeed OPEN on one side. Thanks @ Meir - it looks identical to yours.

The bearing also came with the "LN Engineering.com IMS Retrofit" sticker w/ unique serial#. Thanks @Jager. NOTE: My number is in the 6600's - meaning LN have sold a few thousand of these since yours!

I will be glad to put the whole thing in the rearview! I am getting grumpy not having my racecar.

I've had a "Porsche-jones" for a couple weeks now! Can't get my fix. Tried my wife's Honda and left it 'ticking' in the drive but didn't feel much better. Nothing really takes the place. One drop of oil and your life can change! Carpe Porsche!
