Houston area specialist for PPI?

Hi all,

I hope this part of forum okay to post this question.

In market for used Boxster, have done lots of research, so for sure want a pre purchase inspection w/ a compression/leak down test, scan, check IMS, etc.

Any recommendations for reputable Porsche mechanics (non-dealer) in Houston area you could share? I'm in Sugar Land so prefer SW side of town but am flexible for the right mechanic!

Thanks!

JK

I'd be happy to take a look at it with you but I don't have a way to check compression.

I work as an instructor at MSR Houston part time so I get my stuff done by the guys at the track. I don't know of a good indy shop in Houston any more. Since Eric passed away and Sam sold him business it is slim pickens around here. I have contemplated opening a shop myself.

Check out Koby Motors. Never used them but I read some people got PPI's done there and were very pleased. You can also try Rennsport in Sealy.

James, after you purchase your boxster, contact me through a PM and I'll give you the info on my indy mechanic. Very knowledgeable and honest and lots cheaper than the stealership or a formal shop.

Randell I'll take a pm on your mechanic if you don't mind. Needing to get some things done.
