Need Help with a Part Number

Hi Guys

I've searched through the parts diagram listing online and I cannot for the life of me locate the part number for this part.

The car is a 2002 986.

Its a rubber plug that is underneath the rear deck lid. There are 2 of them per car (1 per side) and they fit in the groove just in front of the deck lid seal on the body of the car. As you can see from the photos, I'm missing one as this was the hole where the 3rd brake light wiring harness went through for my Aero Kit II wing. Now that the wing is off the car, I'll need to plug it up again.

If anyone has any idea what the part number is for these, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Cheers!

Mark

PS - If anyone is interested in a factory aero kit II wing with 3rd brake light, wiring harness, instructions, and spacers, please drop me a line.

i think what you are looking for is part 12 in this diagram.

you can confirm that by measuring the plug.
also try and look for the part number on the one that you still have.

Thanks for your response...i do appreciate it.

Unfortunately the one I still have doesn't have a part number to it. The plug is definitely not #12 as its much smaller than 100mm.

Cheers

Mark

If you take your rubber grommet into an electrical wholesalers, they should be able to supply you with a similar electrical rubber conduit grommet plug which should just pop in.
I replaced a few of mine on my MX-5 Miata project a few years ago.

I couldn't find it after a quick skim, but this seems to be pretty comprehensive. Try around page 220.
