Turn A/C Off

Hi Guys,

is there a key on the A/C console that turns the A/C off without having to play with the fan button (-) until the a/c turns off? I find it distracting when fan is blowing at full speed and i have to keep the minus button pressed for 10 seconds to switch the a/c unit off.

Yeah same here every time I turn the car on the bloody AC is on.
There must be a way to turn it off properly.

Hi,

For me I turn of the ice icon and set the temp fan speed to whatever I want. When I restart the car its always as I last left it. I figure thats its supposed to work??

Thanks Tony. I might tie a thin string to the A/C fuse and make my own 'Instant Off' by pulling the string.

I keep mine at the first spot...not even sure it's turning, I feel no air. Then when you need air or heat, you push the button and up the the fan.
