Replacing rear fog and break light bulbs.

I just replaced all rear fog and break lights bulbs. The left break light and right fog light still doesn't work, but the right break and left fog works fine. I check the fuse and they look fine. Anyone has such expereince? Please help. Thanks.

There is only one rear fog light, located on the left side.

Hi,

Something to realize about the Fog Lights on the Porsche. Their purpose is not to allow you to see better. Rather, they are there to allow you to be seen better by other Drivers.

Also, with respect to Rear Fog Lights, they are always located on the Passing side of the Car - Left for LHD Countries and Right for RHD Countries. This way, the Driver behind you knows to pass you toward the Center of the Road as opposed to a Pass on the Shoulder. There is no Fog Light on the Right Side of US Market Cars. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!...Jim'99

Thank you all for the known problem of the fog light. After I slowly knock the bulb holder with my screw driver, the break light work. It is a touching problem. te light holder is getting old, hope it won't loose out again.

Two ways to help with the bulb contact:

First, see if the flexible part that contacts the bulb is flattened. If so, use a jeweler's screwdriver to push it out a little, but be careful not to break it off.

If the flexible part is very loose, or flattens back easiely, you can put some solder behind it to keep it from pushing back.
