Carrera vs Carrara

I just noticed that the car is spelled C A R R E R A but the color choice is spelled
C A R R A R A White. What am I missing here? What does this mean?

Carrara is a city in the Massa Carrara province of Tuscany, Italy, famous for the white or blue-gray marble quarried there. It is on the Lavensa river, some 60 miles west northwest of Florence.

Porsche uses the Carrera name on its top models to honor the company's success in the Carrera Panamericana race.

I don't think so:

I believe carrara is pronounced kar ra ra ("kar" meaning stone) and carrera is usually pronounced ka rehr a. Incidentally, on its own, I don't believe that carrera is a proper "word".

Lightbulb Can't help it married to a teacher!

Pronunciation of Italian and Spanish are very similar. Both languages are romance languages and phonetic. Carrara Ka RRa(hard roling r) -ra & Carrera Ka RRe(hard rolling R) -ra. The initial C followed a, o & u you pronounce like a english K. The meaning of Carrera is " a race" nothing to do ethinicity but a competition meet.
