Headlight Issues

Hello,

I just bought a 2001 Boxster

The headlights will turn on with the ignition on (Turn signals, fog lights, parking lights, they all work) but once I turn the car on, only the daytime running lights come on. I can pull the turn signal stick towards me and hold it to flash my brights, but I can't seem to make my headlights even come on when the car is on.

Any advice?

Thanks

Here's a video of what's happening:

I lost my low beams and could only get the highs by pulling on the stalk. The driving lights, turn signals all worked fine. My problem was solved by getting a new light switch. I paid $150 for mine but someone mentioned on another thread that Suncoast was having a sale for $99. You can check Pedro's site for info in how to change out the switch, pretty easy DIY. Sounds like you might have the same issue.

Thanks! I'm taking it in Monday and letting them look at it since it's under warranty (Less than a day old)

Unfortunately the bad switch doesn't make any sense on why they work when the car is off. I personally thought of the switch too, but we'll see.
